The OPScenter System Management provides a user interface for the visualization, supervision and control of all hardware and software within a heterogeneous environment. Each individual component is represented graphically on the technician's display, showing its current status and offering comprehensive controlling features. Besides the manual intervention possibilities, the SMCF reacts on either hardware or software failures, automatically restarting failed processes and peripherals and moving processes from one host to another, thus reducing the workload of the administrators and making the whole system safer and more efficient.
